DNA Free Certification

The suite of DNA Detection Assays will test for the presence of DNA from common contaminants in the manufacturing environment, including human, mouse, rat, and bacterial DNA. The assays will qualify products tested to be safe for use in DNA related work. Passing lots are accompanied with a certificate of conformity.

The detection assay will also quantify, to a certain level of assurance, the lack of inhibitors and common contaminants that interfere with PCR reactions and processes. See the qPCR Inhibition test to quantify PCR inhibition levels.

The test is commonly performed in conjunction with the RNase and DNase Assays to complement a product's use in the molecular and forensics fields. DNA Free products assure end users of the cleanliness of manufacture and the efficacy of sterilization programs.
